Apple and berry crumble

An easy and delicious take on the classic apple crumble. Apples and berries combined with delicious Canadian Maple & Raspberry Granola™ makes for a perfect winter warmer.

  • 2 cups SanitariumTM Canadian Maple & Raspberry GranolaTM
  • 1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup wholegrain oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 2 Tbs low fat spread, melted
  • 1 Tbs honey
  • 4 red apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries, defrosted
  • 2 Tbs maple syrup
  • Plain unsweetened yoghurt or non-dairy alternative, to serve

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Place Granola, hazelnuts, oats, spices, spread and honey in a bowl and mix together with your fingers until the mix comes together.
  3. Arrange sliced apples and berries in a 6-cup capacity baking dish and drizzle over maple syrup.
  4. Top with crumble mix and cook in the oven for about 30 minutes until fruit is tender. Serve with plain unsweetened yoghurt.
